First Bath!

Well, technically it's not Carson's first bath because nurses at the hospital gave him a washcloth bath there, but it's his first one at home!

He loves getting bathed, however I think he could tell I had no clue what I was doing....

Finally finished and dry again! After his bath his hair spiked up like a little capuchin monkey, thus creating a nickname that stuck: monkey! It caught on quick with everyone, and now there is a good chance that Carson will think his name is monkey...

First Doctor's visit!!

Picking a Pediatrician was the easiest part of the entire having a baby process! I grew up going to one of the best doctors in Dallas, Dr. Prestidge at Pediatric Associates of Dallas. He has always been a great family friend of ours and still remains my doctor today (even though I am slightly older then his average client)!

The doctor said that he was still a little jaundice and to put him in the sun for as long as possible

Going home!!!

Although the staff at Presbyterian Plano Hospital were amazing, we are very fortunate that we didn't have to stay there very long! Brady and I have never been more excited to go home, and the fact that we were returning with our little one made it so special!

So we had a lot of amazing people come and love on us while we were at the hospital, but I have to say the cutest visitor was Carson's cousin: Brookelynn!

Wednesday night The Beal's started arriving anticipating that Carson would come on his actual due date (no surprise that he didn't)! It started off with Terry forcing me to walk around the block in an attempt to encourage Carson to hurry up- despite the walk, the weekend gave us some of the best memories ever! Not only did Terry tile our bathroom but Niters, Darbs, and Shelbs spent the entire weekend cleaning (and organizing) my entire house!!! And when I say clean, I mean to Nita's and Darbs' standards- Nita even steamed my window seals! She became obsessed!

But I have the best in-laws ever and although Carson didn't come it was a weekend filled with hilarious memories that I wouldn't trade for anything!
