He's growing up!!!

So Emily took this picture then texted it to me...

the second I got it I almost cried....he is getting SO big!!!

Little Red Blanky = Heaven

So Carson use to get really fussy sometimes right before he took a nap, until we discovered his love for this red blanket! Anytime he's fussy or sick we wrap him in it and he goes to sleep immediately...crazy but true

After he was one week old he hated to be swaddled...and then insisted on sleeping with his arm streched out by his head...so silly

I wish I was crazy

For me, one of the best joy's of motherhood is my alone time that I have with Carson during our 5 a.m. feedings. For those of you who know how much I hate waking up, I know that will come as a great surprise! Yesterday morning started a little differently than normal though, I got everything ready and started feeding him and he peed all over me, so I set him down went a changed my shorts and then continued feeding. While burping him he got spit up all over my shirt, thus resulting in yet another wardrobe change. He woke up again around 5 hours later and after I fed him and changed him I was carrying him back into the living room when he peed all over me AGAIN! A few hours later I was changing him on the couch, and as I was getting everything ready I thought to myself 'wow, I really am going insane, I'm now imagining that he's peeing on me'. I thought I was crazy because he was set about a foot away from me, until I looked down at him.

It seems that yesterday I couldn't escape it! :)

and don't worry since then we have steamed cleaned our couch....

1 MONTH OLD!!!

Today Carson turned 1 month old!

Among many treats he received throughout the day, his favorite was meeting his Godmother: Courtney Foster! ...Kent was in Vegas :(

She flew in from Antarctica/Pennsylvania and was able to spend the afternoon with us!

Although we knew he was a little to young to sit up yet, of course we still tried!

He didn't like it...to say the least

EASTER!!!

This Easter marked many firsts for Carson: his first Easter, his first church service, and most importantly: his first time to meet NANA!!!

After lunch we headed back to Dallas to spend the rest of Easter with Deda and the fam! It was also Carson's first Easter post-it hunt, which would take me forever to explain, but the jist of it instead of hunting for Easter eggs at the Seeds' we hunt for post-it notes....it's strange/unique, but the most fun ever! Carson found a great post-it note: 1 free family glider- which turned into a double seat BOB stroller (it is the absolute coolest gift ever!!!)

Well he loves baths, until he gets cold...then, not so much :)
